Nasi Ulam

Nasi ulam is a steamed rice dish mixed with various herbs. The herbs that are used are usually consists of pegagan (Centella asiatica) ,daun kaduk (wild betelnut leaf), pucuk gajus (cashew leaf shoots), onions to name a few. Kerisik(pounded toasted coconut) and other spices is also added. Sometimes shredded fried fish is mixed in.
